Cannabis Christmas Cookies

Baking cookies during the holidays is a rewarding experience. Everyone loves the range of Christmas cookies that exist featuring ingredients like ginger, almond, peanut butter, and more. Try out this Christmas-themed and cannabis-infused cookie recipe.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup cannabutter
  • ¼ regular unsalted butter
  • 30 large marshmallows
  • Green food coloring
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Plain cornflakes
  • Cinnamon red-hot candies

Directions:

  1. Add the butter in a saucepan under very low heat.
  2. As the butter begins melting, add the marshmallows to the pot.
  3. Stir the marshmallows constantly until smooth.
  4. Once smooth, add the cannabutter and mix until incorporated into the marshmallow mixture.
  5. Mix the pure vanilla extract and green food coloring into the mixture.
  6. Mix in 4 cups of cornflakes (add more cups if needed) into the marshmallow mixture until all cornflakes are coated with the mixture.
  7. Heap on a couple of tablespoons of the mixture onto the wax paper.
  8. If you don’t want your fingers to get sticky, put a little plain butter on them to ease the process.
  9. Form a little wreath with the cornflake and marshmallow mixture that will eventually become hard and stiff like a Rice Krispie treat.
  10. For a final touch, add the red hots around the wreath while the mixture is still warm.
  11. Let the treats harden and enjoy.

Infused Lavender Hot Chocolate

A warm and rich cup of hot chocolate is the perfect way to heat up during the cold winter days. Top off your Christmas day with this infused lavender hot chocolate recipe.

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons of dried lavender
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 2-4 drops of infused cannabis oil

Directions:

  1. Add milk to a small saucepan and bring the liquid to a boil.
  2. While the milk boils, mix the cocoa, honey/maple syrup, salt, vanilla, and cannabis oil together in a bowl.
  3. Once the milk boils, remove the saucepan from heat, add lavender, and cover.
  4. Let the milk steep for 10 minutes.
  5. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh or tea strainer to remove the lavender.
  6. Combine the milk with ingredients in the bowl and serve immediately.

Canna-rum cake

Nothing says Christmas more than a traditional rum cake, which you can now infuse with your choice of marijuana. Enjoy this canna-rum cake during this year’s Christmas celebration.

Serves: 14

Rum cake ingredients:

  • 1 (18.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3.5-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cannabis coconut oil
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup rum
  • ½ cup chopped pecans

Glaze ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup rum

Rum cake directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325ºF.
  2. Grease and flour one 10-inch tube pan.
  3. Combine cake mix and pudding mix.
  4. In another bowl, beat eggs, water, vegetable oil, cannabis oil, and rum until frothy.
  5. Add cake mix/pudding mixture and beat until well mixed.
  6. Spread pecans evenly over the bottom of the prepared pan and pour batter over pecans.
  7. Bake cake at 325ºF for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry when inserted in the center.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for five minutes and remove from pan.
  9. Place in serving dish immediately, right side up (pecans should be on the bottom).

Glaze directions:

  1. During the last 15 to 20 minutes of baking time, combine butter or margarine, water, and sugar, in a saucepan and bring to boil over high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and boil rapidly until it’s very thick and syrupy stirring frequently. The syrup must be reduced quite a bit and be very thick, otherwise, it will make the cake mushy.
  3. Remove from heat and add rum.
  4. While the cake is still hot, poke holes all over the top of the cake with a toothpick and spoon glaze over the top of the cake.
  5. Allow the cake to sit at room temperature for one day, then refrigerate.

These Christmas-themed recipes will be a hit at your cannabis-friendly party. As long as you consume marijuana responsibly, you can have a pleasant and blissed-out Christmas.
