Sherblato Strain

In this Sherblato strain review, you’ll learn about a budding cannabis strain that is taking over the west coast markets for both recreational and medicinal marijuana. Girl Scout Cookies has been popular for years now and Sherbert has been growing in popularity as one of the favorite GSC derivatives itself.

Unsurprisingly, the cannabis industry demanded more from these two cannabis strains. That’s where Sherblato comes in.

Sherblato Strain Genetics

Is Sherblato an indica or sativa strain? Sherblato is a sativa-dominant hybrid resulting from crossing Sherbert and Gelato. Both of these strains are quite popular in their own right and are spawned from the GSC heritage.

Sherbert, also known as Sunset Sherbert, is a well-known strain that is the result of crossing Pink Panties strain and GSC. Potent with an enjoyable essence, it’s hard to find anyone who doesn’t like Sherbert!

Gelato is created by crossing Sunset Sherbert itself and Thin Mint GSC, which is one of the more popular phenotypes of GSC. Euphoria and relaxation are typical with this heavy-hitting cannabis strain.

As you can tell, GSC is the main player in the lineage of Sherblato. Pink Panties is the only other strain that brings uniqueness beyond the GSC heritage, with Sherbert being present twice and GSC being present 3 times over.

Those who want to take Sherblato for a test drive may have a hard time finding this bud at the moment, as it is quite new to the scene. However, there are seeds available through well-known seed banks online if you can’t wait for your local dispensary to stock some of this dank bud.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see this cannabis strain explode in popularity in the coming years due to the immense popularity of the parent-strains.

Fans of the GSC family of strains will naturally flock to Sherblato and it will probably grab newcomers to the world of marijuana as well with its blissful essence and enjoyable experience. Simply put, Sherblato is here to stay!

It should be noted that while this strain is typically listed as sativa-dominant, it is close to evenly balanced. Certain phenotypes will lean more towards indica than sativa. Seed dealers will usually list what their specific phenotype grows like, so take this into account before purchasing.

Sherblato Strain Yield

Sherblato can be a little difficult to grow for those without a natural green thumb. It is known to produce high yields if you can provide it with what it needs to thrive.

The plants can stretch to around 5-7 feet tall, so indoor growers should take care to top their plants and train them for more lateral growth than vertical growth. Outdoor growers can let them flourish as is or train them in similar ways, as it can boost bud production and quality whether you are indoors or outdoors.

For each square foot of the Sherblato plant, indoor growers can expect to harvest around 2-4 ounces of bud. Outdoor growers will be blessed with even more and can expect around 4-6 ounces per square foot. It’s a heavy producer if you can keep it happy through the growing season!

It can be hard to find a high THC and high producing strain, so growers will rejoice when choosing to grow Sherblato for themselves.

Flowering Time

Sherblato takes around 7-9 weeks during the flowering stage. The large range has to do with the growing environment and how mature the grower would like the trichomes to be. In the earlier range of maturity, trichomes will be mostly milky-white in color and feature the highest percentage of THC.

Waiting more towards 8-9 weeks will allow the trichomes to turn more amber, which can lower THC a bit but raise the body-high effects that a cannabis strain can produce.

The buds aren’t particularly large even though this strain can be a heavy-yielding crop. The buds appear forest green with hints of violet and purple mixed in if there were low temperatures during the early stages of flowering to bring the colors out.

The hairs are light orange and the white trichomes almost appear purple as they ricochet the hues of the bud below.

THC Percentage

You can expect to find around 21-22% THC in your batch of Sherblato. While this isn’t explicitly potent compared to some dankensteins that have hit the market recently, it is strong enough to make those who are sensitive to THC overconsume this bud without much effort.

Sherblato grants a great experience when smoked, first hitting the head. The mental effects are a bit spacey and tend to feel blissful and calm. The body high hits and you are left feeling the traditional feeling of stoned: relaxed, calm, and happy all over.

Luckily, this strain isn’t known for inducing all-day couch-lock or sending you off the bed quickly. It’s best suited for evening use but won’t be like taking a hard-hitting sleeping pill. Most smokers will stay awake to enjoy the entire experience.

Sherblato Strain Flavor & Aroma

A mixture of tropical fruits and sour citrus dominates the essence. The aroma also features nuttiness intertwined with gas, which culminates into a pungent exhale. The delicious flavor and aroma that GSC, Sherbert, and Pink Panties are all known for come together to make Sherblato as delicious as cannabis can be!

Medical Conditions This Pot Strain Can Help

Medicinal users can use Sherblato to treat the following conditions:

  • Anxiety
  • Headaches & Migraines
  • Appetite Loss
  • Chronic Pain
  • Stress

As this strain becomes more widespread, the medicinal potential will become more well-known. For now, it’s a favorite among recreational users but is sure to make a splash for medical marijuana markets soon enough!

Final Words On The Sherblato Weed Strain

The GSC and Sunset Sherbert genetics run deep in Sherblato. Fans of those strains will love what this strain has to offer. While the west coast markets are currently well-stocked in this hybrid cannabis strain, it can be a bit difficult to find elsewhere.

Luckily, you can grow your own from feminized seeds from many online seed banks.
