Check out our handy guide on how to grow marijuana indoors and 20 great cannabis seeds for indoor marijuana growing. Growing marijuana indoors involves strong lights, fans, irrigation systems, and other cultivation equipment needed to provide marijuana plants with the right light, water, and nutrients to grow to their fullest potential.

What Is Indoor Marijuana Growing?

Indoor marijuana growing doesn’t just mean putting a marijuana plant next to the windowsill and hoping for the best. Indoor growing requires growers to mimic outdoor environmental factors such as sunlight, rain, and soil conditions. Indoor growers can equip themselves with lights strong enough to give energy to plants and the right soil conditions for optimal nutrient intake.

Indoor cultivation gives growers ultimate control over all of the elements that affect a cannabis seed’s yield, flower density, trichome production, and overall quality. Indoor growers aren’t beholden to the natural climate or season. Furthermore, cannabis crops are safeguarded against harsh environmental conditions such as wind, rain, and snow and predators.

Factors to Consider When Choosing Indoor Cannabis Seeds

When growing marijuana indoors, you’ll need to consider the most basic elements of a grow set-up starting with which cannabis seeds to buy for an indoor grow. The type of cannabis seeds you choose depends on your cultivation experience, budget, strain preference (sativa, indica, hybrid), and size of your growing space.

Here, you’ll find a list of 20 great cannabis seeds for indoor growing along with the strain’s ideal growing conditions.
