Silver Haze Strain Genetics

It all began with the game-changing Haze variety popularized in the early 1980s. Since then, Haze characteristics have been prized by cannabis users and growers around the world. Silver Haze was the first to create a space-efficient Haze variety that can grow fast and produce a high yield.

Sensi Seeds crossed Haze and Northern Lights strains to produce this high potency sativa strain. Sensi Seeds’ feminized Silver Haze seeds have been backcrossed to their original Haze characteristics over generations.

Strains featuring Silver Haze genetics include the following:

Lemon Haze: Silver Haze x Lemon Skunk

Silver Dog: Silver Haze x Chemdog D IX1

Silver Haze Marijuana Strain Aroma

Spicy and earthy notes from the Original Haze strain can also be found in Silver Haze along with woody undertones to complete its pungent and sweet aroma. Silver Haze can feature distinct fruity aromas along with citrus, pine, and honey flavors.

Silver Haze’s most common terpenes include the following:

Myrcene is a major terpene found in many strains. In Silver Haze, myrcene is thought to be responsible for its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. In high doses, myrcene may relieve muscle tension and induce drowsiness.

Caryophyllene adds another layer of spice and muskiness. Caryophyllene is believed to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anxiolytic characteristics.

Limonene’s citrus aroma is hard to miss. Limonene does more than just smell good. Limonene may elevate your mood, provide stress relief, and improve the absorption of other terpenes.

Growing Silver Haze Strain

Feminized and regular Silver Haze seeds are available for purchase on the Sensi Seeds website in one, three, five, or 10-seed packs. If you love your Haze strains, Silver Haze is an excellent strain to grow outdoors and indoors in temperatures between 70º and 80º F.

Silver Haze yields a stunning and plentiful yield full of dense and fox-tailed buds, especially in an indoor or hydroponic set-up using a sea of green (SOG) method. SOG is a growing technique that uses small plants in small pots to maximize growing time and space.

Silver Haze can start flowering early and experience a significant growth spurt, extending it beyond expectations. Small spaces work well with this hybrid strain due to its vertical growth and ability to be close together with other plants.

Beginner growers should be careful not to overfeed Silver Haze. Instead, gradually increase the nutrient level and electrical conductivity (EC) based on how your plant responds to the feedings.
