The House Committee has recently blocked the medical marijuana protections that patients, advocates and companies once had. Medical marijuana patients have been deeply affected. Banks have also been adversely affected, especially those interested in serving the legal marijuana industry and business owners. This has been a blow to all those who are involved. The Amendment The Rohrabacher-Blumenauer amendment is an amendment to the spending bill. With this bill, the Justice Department of the United States won't be able to use its budget to prosecute or arrest individuals who are medical marijuana patients in the legal sense.
