Class 1: Cannabis Basics

This class covers the basics of cannabis, including a history of the plant, how it is used and the science behind its effects. We will also discuss the most popular products, such as joints, vapes, and edibles, and show you how to read labels and use them safely to avoid side effects.

Class 2: Cannabis As Medicine

In this class, we will discuss how cannabis can be used as medicine and why it has been used for thousands of years. We will also discuss how different strains and products affect different conditions and symptoms and what type of strain you should use for your particular condition(s).

Class 3: Fundamentals of Cannabis Cultivation

The Fundamentals of Cannabis Cultivation class covers all the information you need to start a small indoor or outdoor cannabis operation or work for a large commercial grow. This class will help you learn everything you need before starting a cannabis garden, from lighting and airflow to nutrients and grow lights.

Class 4: How to Grow Cannabis

In this class, we'll teach you all about how to grow cannabis indoors or outdoors. We'll start with the basics of caring for your plant through the vegetative and flowering stages and move on to more advanced topics like hydroponics, cloning, and troubleshooting common gardening issues.

Class 5: Cannabis Cooking & Extraction Methods

In this class, we'll be discussing the various methods of cooking with cannabis. You'll learn how to make your own butter, oil, and tinctures using dry and fresh-frozen material. We'll also cover how to infuse all types of foods, from cookies to casseroles!

We will discuss the various extraction methods available, including supercritical CO2 extraction, ethanol extraction, and food-grade propane or butane extraction. We will also teach you about decarboxylation, winterization, and other pre- and post-processing processes needed to create a refined concentrate.

Class 6: Cannabis Careers

In this class, we will go over the basics of where to find jobs in cannabis, how to get industry experience, and how to have a successful interview. We will cover the salary, benefits, and other considerations for working in different cannabis industry jobs, including:

Cannabis law is a complex topic, and it can be challenging to keep up with all the changes. This class will help you keep up with the latest cannabis laws and regulations. We’ll discuss what’s happening in each state and how international laws are changing.
