Refund Policy

Our guarantee

7-day money-back guarantee. If a course isn’t right for you, ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase. You’ll get a full refund as long as:

• your certificate hasn’t been issued, and
• you’ve completed less than 25% of the course.

How to request a refund

Email support@thectu.com with your order number (or the email you bought with). We reply within 1–2 business days and refund to your original payment method. Refunds usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

State-approved courses (Responsible Vendor Training)

The same guarantee applies. Once a certificate has been issued, the course can’t be refunded. If a refund is ever granted after a certificate was issued, the certificate is voided and is no longer valid.

Business seats (group purchases)

Unused seats are refundable within 30 days of purchase. A seat is unused if it hasn’t been assigned, or if the person it was assigned to hasn’t started the course. Seats a learner has started or completed aren’t refundable. Unused seats expire 12 months after purchase. To refund seats, email support@thectu.com with your order number and how many seats; we’ll reduce your group’s seat count to match.

Payment plans and subscriptions

If you pay in installments or by subscription, the guarantee above applies to your first payment. You can cancel any time to stop future payments, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Past payments after the guarantee window aren’t refunded.

Records we keep

A refund or cancellation doesn’t delete records we’re required by law to keep. For state-approved courses, training and certification records are kept for as long as the state requires.
