Sunset Sherbet Strain Genetics

This strain hails from San Francisco Bay. It brings the West Coast flavor to the world. Mr. Sherbinski has earned cult status for his iconic creations including the Gelato strain.

Sunset Sherbet was accidentally developed after an inexperienced Sherbinski brought a male Pink Panties plant into a grow room full of GSC plants. He left it there for about two weeks. He came back to see powder over the plants. That’s a clear sign of pollination from the male plant.

While the crop was ruined, he was left with thousands of seeds. He used the seeds that developed from the accidental pollination to create the first batch of Sunset Sherbet. He immediately fell in love with its berry, lime, and orange flavors. They reminded him of his childhood and Rainbow Sherbet ice cream.

Named after the Sunset district in San Francisco, Sunset Sherbet’s name combines its West Coast roots and its nostalgic effects.

Sunset Sherbet Strain Flavor

Sunset Sherbet’s flavor is packed with an earthy sweetness reminiscent of soil-covered, ripe wild berries. Tangy notes of citrus add a sharp and tart twist to the sugary flavor.

On the inhale, a candy-like flavor excites your taste buds. A hint of lime adds to the complexity of this strain’s taste. An earthy and herbal aftertaste coats your mouth on the exhale.

Aroma

Sunset Sherbet’s aroma will remind you of eating scoops upon scoops of orange, berry, and bubblegum ice cream. Its aroma features strong notes of funky citrus, sweet berry, and the initial smell of an old-fashioned candy shop.
