Indica is the traditional label for cannabis with an "indica" growth habit: short, bushy plants with broad, dark leaves and dense buds, descended from landraces of the Hindu Kush region (Afghanistan, Pakistan, northern India). Indica plants usually flower faster than sativas, which is one reason growers pick them for indoor and northern grows. Today almost every strain is a cross, so the label tells you about lineage and plant shape more than about chemistry.
Our database lists 384 strains here. The lead terpene listed most often among them is myrcene. 331 of them list a flowering time; the most common is 8–9 weeks.
