Grow facts
Grow facts come from the breeder first, then seed banks and strain databases. With 2 sources we show the range and the middle; with 3 or more, the range and the median, after leaving out values far from the rest. The breeder's own value is the anchor, unless it is far from every other source (outside their range and more than 20% from their median); then we show the full range and the median of all of them. A fact from a single source is marked "1 source", and a fact no source lists is left out. Yields are converted to one unit: indoor per square meter, outdoor per plant.
CTU writes every profile from these facts; we do not copy other sites' descriptions. Values that are a generic default in the source data are left out. Last checked Oct 21, 2026.

Jet Fuel is a hybrid strain featuring a THC range of 20-23%. This strain is distinguished by its dense buds and potent diesel aroma, alongside a high resin level that appeals to growers focused on quality resin production. It requires a moderately long flowering period of 9-10 weeks and demonstrates a high stretch factor, which necessitates early training. Its balanced growth indoors and outdoors makes it versatile, though it thrives best in warm, dry climates.
The high from Jet Fuel initiates with a focused and energetic onset that elevates mood and motivation, peaking around mid-session with a notable uplifted and relaxed sensation. This balance between stimulation and calm allows for extended periods of creativity and social engagement without heavy sleepiness. The effects typically last 2-3 hours, tapering gently into a relaxed state that remains clear-headed and functional, suitable for daytime use. Harvesting when trichomes are mostly cloudy enhances the uplifting effect.
On opening a jar of Jet Fuel, the dominant aroma is a pungent and sharp diesel scent with chemical and lemon undertones. The initial inhale shows a strong diesel and citrus burst, which mellows into a pungent, slightly sweet exhale that reflects its complex terpene profile. Proper curing reduces harshness while preserving the vibrant citrus and diesel characteristics essential to this strain's identity.
Jet Fuel performs well both indoors and outdoors, adapting to controlled environments and warm, dry outdoor climates. During week 2 of veg, maintain temperatures between 70-75 deg F and relative humidity at 60%. By week 4 of veg, lower humidity to 55% and begin topping at day 21 to control stretch. In week 3 of flower, reduce temperature to 65-70 deg F and humidity to 50% to preserve terpene integrity. By week 6 of flower, drop humidity further to 40-45% and apply defoliation to improve airflow and prevent mold in dense buds. Start feeding at 0.8 EC in week 1 of veg and increase by 0.2 EC weekly, peaking at 1.4 EC by week 4 of flower, then taper off to 1.0 EC before harvest. Use a PPFD of around 400 µmol/m²/s in veg, increasing to 600 µmol/m²/s during flower. Early topping at day 21 of veg and SCROG training before flowering help manage the high stretch and improve light penetration throughout the canopy. Harvest when trichomes are mostly cloudy with about 10% amber to maximize energetic effects. Yield optimization requires managing the canopy to prevent shading, ensuring dense colas receive adequate airflow to avoid bud rot complications.
Because Jet Fuel has high bud density and a high mold risk, maintaining strong airflow and reducing late-flower humidity below 45% is essential to prevent bud rot. Its strong training response also means early topping and SCROG can significantly improve canopy uniformity and yield.
Indoor growers using topping or SCROG will benefit from Jet Fuel's strong training response and high stretch, as these methods help manage its vertical growth and maximize yield. Additionally, growers in dry, warm climates will find this strain well-suited to outdoor cultivation, as it thrives with proper airflow and humidity control to mitigate mold risks associated with its dense buds.
Compared to Sour Diesel, Jet Fuel has a shorter flowering time and denser buds, requiring more precise humidity control. Unlike SFV OG Kush, Jet Fuel offers a more balanced uplifting effect rather than heavy sleepiness, appealing to those seeking daytime functionality. Relative to East Coast Sour Diesel, Jet Fuel has a higher resin production and requires more training to manage its stretch, but rewards growers with potent, terpene-rich yields.
Jet Fuel typically ranges from 20 to 23 percent THC, placing it in the higher potency category suitable for experienced consumers. This THC range supports its stimulating yet balanced effects without overwhelming novice users.
Jet Fuel is a balanced hybrid. It provides both sativa-like uplifting effects and indica-like relaxation, creating a versatile experience for various users.
The flowering period for Jet Fuel is approximately 9 to 10 weeks. Growers should plan accordingly for this moderately long flowering time to ensure optimal bud development and potency.
Jet Fuel is considered moderate to advanced in grow difficulty due to its high stretch and mold sensitivity. It benefits from experienced training techniques like topping and SCROG, as well as precise environmental control, especially humidity management in late flower.
Jet Fuel has a sharp diesel aroma combined with chemical and lemon notes. On the palate, it offers a pungent diesel flavor with citrus undertones, which become more pronounced with proper curing and drying.
