Purple Platinum is a heavy Indica with just traces of Sativa. The strain has unclear genetics but it was likely grown on the west coast of the US.

The strain is a pain to grow so beginners beware although the strain can be grown indoors or outdoors. Outdoors you can expect around 15 to 20 ounces per plant.

You can expect 2 ounces per square foot when growing outdoors. Both of these yields are quite healthy.

The flowering phase of lasts 9 weeks. The appearance of this strain is that of large leafy nugs that are green with a purple coating of trichomes from which the name is derived.

My Personal Experience With Purple Platinum Strain

I tried Purple Platinum while in Colorado at a cannabis event. I made a point to write down my strain review at the time since it was one of my favorite strains I had tried that year. I tend to love strains with grape flavor and this was one of the best grape strains. I also love purps of all kinds.

It’s great for relaxing and winding down at the end of the day. I was able to watch a movie and read a novel with extreme focus while feeling the effects of platinum purple.
