How long does cannabutter stay good for? Does it have an expiration date?
In the refrigerator, cannabutter lasts as long as regular butter. Record the expiration date of the butter you use in your infusion to keep track of your cannabutter expiration date. Cannabutter can last up to 6 months in the freezer. When you make cannabis butter, only make as much marijuana butter as your freezer can hold for 6 months.

Will cannabutter lose its potency after a certain period of time?
Suspending cannabinoids in oil gives them extra protection from degradation from light and oxygen exposure. Even with proper storage, the butter in your marijuana infusion will spoil long before any potency is lost.

How long does it take to feel the effects of edibles?
Onset varies from person to person. It usually takes between 30 and 90 minutes to feel the effects of edibles. Be careful with weed edibles, pot brownies, and marijuana edibles. The calculator responds with the amount of oil or alcohol you should use and the estimated potency of your end product, per gram. The estimate assumes that 32% of cannabinoids are lost during the infusion process.
