In this Sasquatch Sap strain review, we’ll be taking a look at what 3C Farms put together as their version of Original Glue, formerly known as Gorilla Glue.

Like with many other popular hybrid strains, different breeders create their own phenotypes of the same genetics to create something a bit more unique than what the original breeder came up with. So, yes, Sasquatch Sap from 3C Farms is different than GG4 from GG Strains.

Sasquatch Sap Strain Genetics

3C Farms has cultivated many unique strains, along with unique lineages of already established strains. Take Sasquatch Sap as the main example. It is genetically the same as Original Glue, crossing Chem’s Sister, Chocolate Diesel, and Sour Dubb.

However, due to isolated breeding by 3C Farms, it does have unique properties over GG4 created by GG Strains. It’s still a sativa-dominant hybrid strain though.

Chem’s Sister

Chem Sis is a phenotype of the legendary Chemdawg strain. It’s been around since the mid-90s and offers a long-lasting experience that is uplifting and energizing.

GG Strains has used Chem’s Sister heavily when created their strains. It is a part of Original Glue, New Glue, Sister Glue, and more GG Strains that are simply phenotypes of the same genetic lineage.

Chocolate Diesel

Chocolate Diesel is a cross of Chocolate Thai and Sour Diesel that delivers nothing short of a jittery experience full of energy. An essence full of earthy chocolate and skunky fuel blesses Chocolate Diesel consumers. Yet again, its main influence on breeding is in the line of GG Strains.

Sour Dubb

Sour Dubb has a mysterious background, with two variations that are typically accepted as the lineage for the bud strain.

If you like the combination of fruit and fuel that comes along with many strains in the Diesel family, you’ll fall in love with Sour Dubb’s sweet and sour aroma and flavor. It’s a little less energizing than the previous two strains but still leans towards that end of the spectrum.

It has spawned Alien Rock Candy when crossed with Tahoe Alien. It’s a great choice for those who prefer a more relaxing experience but like the essence of Sour Dubb.

Availability Of Sasquatch Sap Genetics

Sasquatch Sap is hard to find as seeds and clones, meaning growing this phenotype of Original Glue is quite difficult at the moment. 3C Farms hasn’t made their genetic pool readily available at the time of writing.

Keep yourself informed so you know when there is a launch of seeds or clones being sold of Sasquatch Sap!

Derivative Strains

3C Farms has stated that Sasquatch Sap is one of their most popular strains, meaning creating new strains using its genetics is only a matter of time. We can’t wait to see what they name a new strain.

For those that don’t know, they name their strains after conspiracies, like Sasquatch Sap, Chemdawg Trails, and Illuminati OG.

Sasquatch Sap Strain Yield

Sasquatch Sap grows thin and long, produces large gaps between leaves and flowers. While this may look strange, it’s actually a good thing as it promotes better airflow and light exposure throughout the plant. These 6-foot tall plants can be trained indoors and be allowed to spread outdoors.

Indoor yields are typically around 1.2-1.6 ounces per square foot of plant, while outdoor plants allowed to flourish to their peak can produce upwards of 16 ounces per plant.

Flowering Time

This sativa-dominant hybrid will require 10-12 weeks to reach full maturity. This makes outdoor harvests in late October or early November.

These medium-sized buds are light green and feature dark orange hairs. The trichome coverage is generous, with a mixture of milky white and amber-colored trichomes, if harvested, cured, and stored properly.

Sasquatch Sap Strain THC Percentage

Sasquatch Sap isn’t as potent as some batches of GG4 have turned out to be. THC typically ranges between 15-19%, which is nowhere near Original Glue buds that have tested up to 32% THC.

While 32% sounds amazing, it’s ridiculously powerful. Novices and those with a lower tolerance to THC will enjoy Sasquatch Sap much more.

This energizing experience is best served with physical activity. It starts with a euphoric rush that boosts clarity and focus.

The happy cerebral effects combined with a lack of any sense of sedation make it great for daytime use. The physical effects are limited to pain relief instead of relaxation and sedation.

Flavor & Aroma

The aroma of Sasquatch Sap is a little harsh and pungent. It’s a mixture of earthy chocolate and sweet and sour diesel. The flavor is sweet and earthy, with hints of chocolate syrup through the exhale.

Terpene Profile

Sasquatch Sap hasn’t had lab data to verify the terpene profile, but there is a high chance that it is similar to Original Glue. GG4 is rich in Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Limonene.

Myrcene promotes relaxation, which is missing in the experience of Sasquatch Sap.

Caryophyllene helps to reduce the effects of inflammation.

Limonene can boost energy and lower the effects of stress and anxiety as well.

If you are looking for more strains like Sasquatch Sap, the most basic recommendation is to check out the lineup from GG Strains, including Original Glue, New Glue, and Sister Glue for similar effects and terpene profiles.

Medical Conditions This Pot Strain Can Help

Those seeking relief with Sasquatch Sap will find it effective for:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Headaches
  • Pain
  • Fatigue

Those who like what Original Glue has to offer but don’t want the extremely high levels of THC that tend to come with it should look for Sasquatch Sap as a legitimate alternative.

Final Words On The Sasquatch Sap Weed Strain

Sasquatch Sap hasn’t taken off like some other phenotypes have around the industry. For example, Thin Mint GSC and Platinum GSC have taken on a life of their own after being derived from the same linage as GSC.

Sasquatch Sap may be the same genetically as Original Glue, but it has unique traits that 3C Farms has alluded to. Unfortunately, finding seeds or clones is quite difficult at the moment, meaning you might have to settle for regular-old GG4 at the moment.
