Forbidden Fruit Strain Genetics

The origins of its genetics have been widely disputed. Its origins are most likely from a California-based breeder named Joseph from Chameleon Extracts.

This strain came to be four and a half years ago. Joseph crossed a Tangie from Crockett Family Farms with Cherry Pie pollen from Jigga, the mind behind favorites like Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) and Gelato.

Joseph’s first wave of propagation yielded 37 phenotypes with strong Tangie leanings. From his large group, he managed to narrow down to a single phenotype. His preferred plant was the only one with purple color leaves. Joseph said it “tastes like Tangie all the way through” but “had the Pie look.”
